Mrs. Amy Singleton brings 26 years of experience in education and a strong commitment to student success, instructional excellence, and collaborative leadership. Throughout her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, math coach, and instructional coach, in addition to spending four years teaching overseas, where she gained valuable experience working with diverse learners and educational communities. For the past four years, she has proudly served as the Reading Coach at Cottageville Elementary School, partnering with teachers to strengthen instruction and improve student achievement.
Mrs. Singleton earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from South Carolina State University and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Converse College. She also earned an Educational Leadership Certificate from Bank Street Graduate School of Education. Mrs. Singleton has also earned numerous professional endorsements, including Gifted and Talented and Read to Succeed (Teacher and Coach), reflecting her dedication to supporting high-quality instruction and meeting the diverse needs of all learners.
Mrs. Singleton is known for her passion for building positive relationships, empowering educators, and creating learning environments where every student can thrive. She is excited to continue serving the students, families, faculty, and staff of Cottageville Elementary School in her new leadership role and looks forward to helping build upon the school's tradition of excellence.
