Welcome to Black Street Early Childhood Center's website! I am excited to begin my second year as principal for Black Street Early Childhood Center! Our BSECC Owls will be, “Spreading Our Wings and Learning New Things!”
I have lived in Colleton County since 1980 and am a proud Walterboro High School Class of 1991 graduate. I have two sons who are graduates of Colleton County High School.
Over the past 23 years, I have served in several educational capacities; teacher, assistant principal, and principal in the Colleton County School District. I have a profound love of children and helping them grow as learners! It is my hope that you, the families and community members of BSECC, will help support the love of learning in our BSECC Owls.
The BSECC Family invites you to visit our school so that we can share with you all the wonderful things happening daily at Black Street Early Childhood Center. Our school is a warm and safe environment where our educators recognize each child as a unique individual deserving of an engaging and meaningful learning experience.
Our expectations at Black Street Early Childhood Center are high, and our little people embrace the challenge! Success at all levels of education begins in the earliest years of a child's life. We are dedicated to building a strong educational foundation and to foster a love of learning!
